Allegory

Allegory is a story or poem that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning. An allegory is a literary device that is similar to symbolism. It is used to represent ideas and concepts. Allegories are really useful when trying to express a complex idea to a variety of readers. Instead of literally being complex, the idea or concept can be manipulated to a much simpler, unobtrusive idea, one where the readers can easily understand.

Squealer's reasoning are obviously wrong, but the animals are either too dumb or easily persuaded. When one makes a decision, they will most likely think to themselves that the decision is right. If it's wrong, then they learned something. If you make the right decision every time and you never make a mistake, then you never learn anything. If you don't learn anything, then there's no reason to be what you are. The animals are also too dumb to notice that if Napoleon holds the power to decide for all, then not everyone is equal. 100% of all successful people have made the wrong decisions and some point in their lives but have learned their mistakes and made it to the place where they are today.

Intelligence

I believe intelligence is vital for leadership. Without it, the leader is just a maniac ruling with no progressions made. Although intelligence is a principle or standard to constructing leadership, it should not be the only factor. People should also have social skills such as manners and communication.

Thanksgiving

I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my dog. I am thankful for having all my friends. I am thankful for living in this time period. I am thankful for all the technology around us to make us live more efficiently. I am thankful for all the resources available to me that are vital for life. I am thankful for science because without it, we would never be able to have come this far with inventions or innovations.
